Nitrider® W-Serie

Nitrider® W-Series gas springs (gas spring - nitrogen cylinder) have the latest sealing technology* for longer operating cycles. A black painted pressure tube and nitrided piston rod provide optimum corrosion protection. The gas spring can withstand a salt spray test according to ASTM-B117 for 144 hours, which meets the usual requirements of the automotive industry. Nitrider® W-series gas struts have welded eye ends.

Our gas struts with welded eye ends are ready for use without additional end pieces and are frequently used in the furniture and automotive industries.

 

Applications for Gas Struts with Welded Ends

Our engineers are here to advise you on the optimal use of gas struts. With our calculation program we can design individual gas struts or a series of gas struts for you. By using the hand force you require, even large constructions, such as window systems, ventilation grilles, solar systems, service flaps, machine hoods, vehicle boot lids, sales car shutters and folding beds can be optimally opened and closed in the motor home area.

A comprehensive programme is available for attaching the gas struts to components made of steel, stainless steel and plastic.
