What do we use your data for?
We use the collected data for monitoring use of our website, fixing errors, ensuring the functionality of the website and generally improving its content. Other data may be used to analyse usage data of visitors.
What rights do you have regarding your data?
You always have the right to request information about your stored data, its origin, the recipients, and the purpose of its collection at no charge. You also have the right to request correction, blocking or deletion of this data. You may contact us at any time using the address given in the imprint if you have further questions about the issue of privacy and data protection. You may also, of course, file a complaint with the responsible regulatory authorities.

2. General information and mandatory information
Please note that data transmitted via the internet (e.g. via e-mail communication) may be subject to security breaches. Complete protection of your data from third-party access is not possible.
Notice concerning the party responsible for this website
The party responsible for processing data on this website is:
Frankfurter Straße 76
Telephone: +49 (0) 2353 - 4098
The responsible party is the natural or legal person who alone or jointly with others decides on the purposes and means of processing personal data (names, email addresses, etc.).
Revocation of your consent to the processing of your data
When you consent to processing your personal data for a specified reason you may revoke your consent at any time with future effect. An informal email making this request is sufficient. The data processed before we receive your request may still be legally processed.
Right to file a complaint with a supervisory authority
If you consider that the processing of personal data has been breached, you have the right to file a complaint with a supervisory authority. The responsible supervisory authority for data protection issues is the data protection officer of the federal state in which our company is based. Right to data portability
You have the right to receive personal data which we have processed automatically with your consent or in fulfilment of a contract in a common, machine-readable format. You also have the right to request a controller passes the data to a third party. If you require the direct transfer of data to another responsible person, this will only be done as far as it is technically feasible.
SSL or TLS encryption
This site uses SSL or TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or requests that you send to us as the site operator. The address line of the browser in an encrypted connection changes from "http://" to "https://" and by the lock symbol in your browser line.
If SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.
Encrypted payments on this website
If, after the conclusion of a contract with costs, there is an obligation to provide us with your payment data (e.g. account number for direct debit authorization), this data is required for payment processing.
Payment transactions via the usual means of payment (Visa/MasterCard, direct debit) are carried out exclusively via an encrypted SSL or TLS connection. The address line of the browser in an encrypted connection changes from "http://" to "https://" and by the lock symbol in your browser line.
With encrypted communication, your payment data, which you transmit to us, cannot be read by third parties.
Information, blocking, deletion
Within the framework of the applicable legal provisions, you always have the right to request information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipient, and the purpose of its collection free of charge. Opposition to promotional emails
We hereby object to the use of contact data published within the scope of the imprint obligation to send unsolicited advertising and information material. The website operator reserves the right to take legal action if unsolicited advertising material, such as email spam, is received.
3. Data collection on our website
Our cookies do not harm your device and do not contain any viruses. Most of the cookies we use are so-called “session cookies”. They are automatically deleted after your visit. Other cookies remain in your device's memory until you delete them. These cookies make it possible to recognize your browser when you next visit our site.
Server log files
Examples of the information that our website provider automatically collects and stores and that your browser automatically transmits to us in “server log files” include:
- Browser type and browser version
- Operating system used
- Referrer URL
- Host name of the accessing computer
- Time of the server request
- IP address
These data will not be combined with data from other data sources.
The basis for data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO., which allows the processing of data to fulfil a contract or for measures preliminary to a contract.
If you send us enquiries via the contact form, your details from the enquiry form including the contact data you provided there will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in the event of follow-up questions. These data will not be passed on without your consent.
The processing of the data entered in the contact form is therefore carried out exclusively based on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO). You may revoke your consent at any time. For this purpose, an informal e-mail notification to us is sufficient. The data processed before we receive your request may still be legally processed.
We will keep the data entered by you in the contact form until you request deletion, revoke your consent to storage or the purpose for data storage no longer applies, for example, after your request has been processed. Mandatory legal provisions, especially retention periods, remain unaffected.
Registration on this website
On our website, we offer you the opportunity to register by providing your personal data. We use the data entered for the purpose of using the respective offer or service for which you have registered. The mandatory information requested during registration must be provided in full. Otherwise, we will reject your registration.
To inform you about important changes such as those within the scope of our site or technical changes, we will use the e-mail address provided during registration.
We will process the data provided during registration only based on your consent per Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b. DSGVO. When you consent to processing your personal data for a specified reason you may revoke your consent at any time with future effect. An informal e-mail making this request is sufficient. The data processed before we receive your request may still be legally processed.
The data collected during registration will be stored by us if you are registered on our website and will subsequently be deleted. Legal retention periods remain unaffected.
Processing of data (customer and contract data)
We collect, process, and use personal data only insofar as it is necessary to establish, or modify legal relationships with us (master data). This is done based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b. DSGVO, which permits the processing of data to fulfil a contract or for pre-contractual measures. We collect, process and use personal data relating to the use of our website (usage data) only to the extent necessary to enable you to access our service or to bill you for the same.
To ensure the security of processing, a procedure exists for the regular, review, assessment, and evaluation of the effectiveness of technical and organizational measures. This is carried out based on Art. 32 para. 1 lit. b,c,d DSGVO.
Collected customer data shall be deleted after completion of the order or termination of the business relationship. Legal retention periods remain unaffected.
Data transmitted when entering into a contract with online shops, retailers, and mail order
We only transmit personal data to third parties that are involved in the processing of your order or that are required to fulfil the terms of your contract. For example, if you place an order via our website, we will transmit your order information to Febrotec’s partner companies and contractors who process and deliver your order to you, or banks which are entrusted to process your payments. Your data will not be transmitted for any other purpose unless you have given express permission to do so. Your data will not be disclosed to third parties for advertising purposes without your express consent.
The basis for data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b. DSGVO, which permits the processing of data for the fulfilment of a contract or pre-contractual measures.
Analytics and advertising
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service. It is operated by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
Google Analytics uses "cookies". Cookies are text files that are stored in the Internet browser on your electronic device. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there.
Google Analytics cookies are stored based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b. DSGVO. The website operator has a legitimate interest in analysing user behaviour to optimize both our website and our advertising.
We have activated the IP anonymization feature on this website. This will cause Google to shorten your IP address within member states of the European Union or other parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area before it is transmitted to the United States. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address sent to a Google server in the US and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity, and to provide other services regarding website activity and Internet usage to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics is not combined with any other data from Google.
The right to object to the collection of data
You can prevent Google Analytics from collecting your data by clicking on the following link. An opt-out cookie is set to prevent your information from being collected on future visits to this website: Disable Google Analytics.
Outsourced data processing
We have concluded a contract with Google for order data processing and fully implement the strict requirements of the German data protection authorities when using Google Analytics.
Demographic data collection by Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics' demographic features. This allows reports to be generated containing statements about the age, gender, and interests of site visitors. This data originates from interest-based advertising from Google and third-party visitor data. This information cannot be associated with any specific individual. You can deactivate this function at any time via the ad settings in your Google Account or generally prohibit Google Analytics from collecting your data as described under "The right to object to the collection of data".
5. Plugins and tools
Google Web Fonts
This page uses web fonts provided by Google for the uniform display of fonts. When you open a page, your browser loads the required web fonts into your browser cache to display texts and fonts correctly. For this purpose, your browser must connect to Google’s servers. This enables Google to know that your IP address has been used to access our website. The use of Google Web fonts is in the interest of a uniform and appealing presentation of our website. This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 para.1 lit. f DSGVO.
If your browser does not support web fonts, a standard font will be used by your computer.
6. Payment service providers
Our website accepts payments via PayPal. The provider of this payment service is PayPal (Europe) S.à.r.l & Cie, S.C.A., 22-24 Boulevard Royal, L-2449 Luxembourg.
If you choose to pay via PayPal, the payment details you enter will be sent to PayPal. The transfer of your data to PayPal is based on Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a DSGVO (consent) and Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b DSGVO (processing to fulfil a contract). You have the possibility to revoke your consent to data processing at any time with future effect. A revocation has no effect on the processing of data previously collected.
